Per the repository's own README, Vue 2 hit End of Life on December 31, 2023, is no longer actively maintained, and the project now directs users toward vuejs/core (Vue 3) and an official migration guide, while leaving Vue 2 itself installable through CDNs, package managers, and GitHub.

Nuxt is the full-stack Vue framework — an open-source layer on top of Vue.js that gives you server-side rendering, static site generation, and file-based routing without wiring it all up yourself. It's written in TypeScript, works across Node, static hosting, and the edge, and leans on a large module ecosystem to fill in the gaps.
